Clowning Around, what better way to spend a morning! A large event, all with a common goal, helping others.
Six Caring Clowns, dressed to perfection from their toes, up to their bulbous red nose. I, in my scooter, hoping to be an example of a person “LIVING” with a disease.
The kid come in masses! I wondered if they had been shipped in from other countries, as the line-ups seemed to have no end. Balloon animals, stickers, toys, bubbles, jokes and fun came from our group of Caring Clowns. We worked together like a well-rehearsed Broadway play.
I am a Caring Clown in training. I have primary progressive MS, and am in a wheelchair. Instead of lying in bed, I decided that I needed to live life to the fullest, every moment of everyday. When I am thinking of others, I get out of myself. The rewards are astounding, life-altering. I am grateful beyond words, for the Caring Clown Society.
